Greek PM under pressure to go

The Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou was clinging defiantly to his job today in the face of a rebellion from his own ministers against his plans to hold a referendum on the euro rescue plan. Mr Papandreou was holding a crisis meeting of his Cabinet after which A European Union flag waves accross the Parthenon of Acropolis in Athens Lucas Papademos German Chancellor Angela Merkel (R) and Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou (L) talk over Eurozone bailout plan ahead of the G20 summit George Papandreou Nicolas Sarkozy and Angela Merkel
